Asus T91/T101H delayed
A lot of people have been getting really excited about the prospect of an Asus Eee touchscreen tablet after a number of sightings at CES. Unfortunately, it looks like fans are going to have to wait just a little longer before they get their hands on these new toys from Asus.
UMPCFever seems to suggest that a combination of factors have caused this slip in unveiling. These include a 3% - 4% dip in last quarter earnings and the economic downturn. Add in the ferocious competition going on in the netbook market and you can understand why Asus is twitchy about launching right now.
Ok, now for the good news; if you’re prepared to wait a little longer (as if you have any choice!), the T91 and T101H could be with us sometime in the second quarter of 2009.
