Asus N10

Asus N10 Coming Your WayIn last week’s article about the new Eee releases from Asus I questioned the blurring between notebook and UMPC. It looks like Asus already have an answer to this in the form of the Asus N10. This new Asus device is probably pushing the limits of the netbook spec which may be why Asus have decided not to lump it under the Eee banner.

I’ve always liked the Eee series of netbooks but found them ugly - something that has changed with the release of the N10. The device features glossy black and silver case, 10 inch 1024×768 1024×600 screen, Altec Lansing speakers, a fingerprint reader, 1.3 megapixel webcam, and an HDMI out. Prices have been pegged at around 400 Euro’s so when you look at it that’s a pretty impressive package. There’s no news on the CPU yet but, logically, I’d say we’re looking at the N10 carrying an Intel Atom.
